Very low light picture quality is not great. Must use Sony Infolithium battery. I used a new aftermarket lithium battery and the camera does not even turn on! So stock up on Sony Infolithium batteries. Sony periodically discontinues older models of Infolithium batteries and then you are SOL or have to buy used batteries on Ebay!
I have used my camera for some nature videos and I can say it's amazing. Good image quality, something bad is that it doesn't have input microphone so, it could be noisy if you are filming in a windy day. I can't believe that I got all this stuff for the price that I did.
